Green competences for sustainable development

Module 1 introduces the factors that contribute to climate change. As background to sustainable development, the module presents measures you can take to minimise the impact of enterprises in the environment and initiatives to improve Corporate Social Responsibility.

Upon completion of this Module, you should be able to:

• recognise the factors that contribute to climate change
• recognise the legislation and risk for penalties and fines due to increased GHG emissions
• identify different GHG reduction measures
• identify concrete initiatives to improve the CSR of a business company
